Waterhouse Campground and Marina is in close proximity to Lake Dunmore Dam which is a wonderful spot definitely worth
    stopping at, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Mount Moosalamoo Trail.
From a rain point of view Waterhouse Campground and Marina is a relatively normal site; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and February
is the month with the least moisture. Waterhouse Campground and Marina is often visited by the folks in Salisbury.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Nature Trail, and you'll locate a charming lake called Lake Dunmore. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend New Haven River, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Silver Lake Trail.

go for a hike along the Keewaydin Trail; you'll meet a lot of people from Salisbury here.
While visiting this region in Vermont it's a magnificent idea to go for a weekend of camping too. Waterhouse Campground and Marina is situated in a vicinity with loads of amusing things to do; it's always fun to be at this campground. Through the long summer days at Waterhouse Campground and Marina highs are mostly in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Waterhouse Campground and Marina temperatures dip to the 0's.
This campground is always a pleasure. Not far from Waterhouse Campground and Marina you can enjoy the trees of Salisbury Municipal Forest; going for a hike along the Falls of Lana Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
If you want to go to some attention-grabbing stuff, go to Rattlesnake Point, and places like Branbury State Park are great to stop by. All the great local attractions around here and all the outdoors recreation are nice incentives to come. A perfect view of scenic Sunset Hill is available from Waterhouse Campground and Marina, and Sugarbush is a very popular ski area in the vicinity.
Take a little journey to Sucker Brook while you're here at Waterhouse Campground and Marina, and if you come at the right time of year, Otter Creek offers some delightful whitewater. Famous Vermont kindness and all the amusing things beat anything.
