| | REST N’ NEST lies in the remarkable quiet of a 20-acre forest. A central location with all major highways leading directly to the campground makes Rest N’ Nest an ideal base for all your excursions, with most New Hampshire & Vermont attractions being no more than 1 hour away.
Carved out of the woods, the campground better known as, “THE CAMPGROUND WITH ELBOW ROOM”, pleads guilty of extra large sites, quiet and relaxing atmosphere for those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Swim our relaxing pool or enjoy our man-made, spring fed pond. |

Our spectacular pond includes a fun slide with floating raft. Children will enjoy our exciting playground and video games in our game room. Utilize our large rec hall to watch your favorite sporting event on satellite TV or play horseshoes outdoors. A special section has been made
| for seasonal and monthly guests with metered electric, also an area for group camping. Selected events are held on weekends including Easter in June, Christmas in July, Halloween in August, “Happy the Clown”, hayrides, scavenger hunts, chili cook-offs and more.
Within a ten minute drive is an 18-hole golf course at beautiful Lake Morey. Canoe or fish the Connecticut River with boat access located 1 mile from the campground or at Lake Fairlee (4 miles) or Lake Morey (6 miles). The Montshire Museum of Science is just 10 miles south of Rest N’ Nest. | |

Queechee Gorge and White River Jct. are just 15 minutes away. Hike the Appalachian Trail, our own State forest or visit Union Village Dam, just minutes from the campground.
Our fall foliage is beyond compare. Spectacular views can be seen from mid September to mid October
whether you take the interstate or the scenic routes.
I-91 to exit 14, turn east on Route 113 for 200', turn left on to Latham Rd.
Ompompanoosuc River is a good whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Rest N' Nest Campground; one of the dominant marks of the surroundings
of Rest N' Nest Campground is Cobble Hill. Here at Rest N' Nest Campground you'll almost certainly meet some people from Thetford; Whaleback is a great local ski area. Swamps like Conant Swamp are fun to take a look at, and a journey to Quechee State Park when you're here is never
a bad idea. This campground is a pretty spot to stop at. Very splendid water scenery is available at Lake Abenaki Dam next to Rest N' Nest Campground, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Grimes Hill Road. Rest N' Nest Campground is a good place of typical rainfall;
August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. It's a magnificent idea to stop by Gunn Brook, it's near Rest N' Nest Campground, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail. Yeah, come here
to Rest N' Nest Campground for a delightful time. Summertime at Rest N' Nest Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the night is a tad colder of course, frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows during
the winter for Rest N' Nest Campground tend to be in the-10's. So many enjoyable things to do here at Rest N' Nest Campground, too great to be true. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Rest N' Nest Campground called the Wrights Mountain Trail, and you without doubt
should take a look at Ricker Pond State Park since you're here. Near Rest N' Nest Campground you stumble on the Clark Pond Loop which is a great hiking trail, and a wooded region nearby is Thetford Hill State Forest. This is such a fun spot for a campground. In case you don’t
have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mascoma River, and naturally, this is a perfect vicinity for folks who like lakes, Lake Abenaki is a lake close at hand.

Tent camping is available - Wooded & open sites RV hookups are available - 59 W/E/S & 19 W/E, 20/30/50 amp sites, pull-thru sites also available. Pets are allowed - Pets allowed on a leash & must be cleaned upafter. No additional charge for pets. Campfires are allowed - Fire rings on every site. Has Store - Campstore, groceries, wood, ice, clothing, propane fill station & basic necessities. Grocery store nearby Pool - Along with swimming pond and pond slide.
