Pinecrest Camping Area, Vermont   Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's totally impossible to get bored. This campground is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Lewis Creek; you can go for a hike on the Beane Trail. Don't leave Pinecrest Camping Area without first going for a hike along the Jerusalem Trail, and nice hiking is available along the Catamount Cross Country Trail. Pinecrest Camping Area is liked by residents of Williston. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mill Brook, and if you've had enough of Pinecrest Camping Area, Lake Iroquois is nearby. If you come at the right time of year, Huntington River offers some fine whitewater, and this is a popular place for folks from Williston. This is such a wonderful campground. Williston Country Club is a wonderful golf course close by, and the Nose Dive Trail offers hiking at its best. That right   there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Pinecrest Camping Area has it all. In Vermont you never run out of outdoors fun things. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Cochran Ski Center is in the neighborhood of Pinecrest Camping Area, and Mt. Philo State Park is worth taking a look at. From a precipitation point of view Pinecrest Camping Area is a reasonably normal place; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. While you're here at Pinecrest Camping Area you can play some golf at Rocky Ridge Golf Club, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pinecrest Camping Area; Battell Trail is a glorious local trail. The great choice of local attractions, and such a vast number of things to do are perfect reasons to come. Lots of folks pick this campground to be in the vicinity of Mt. Philo State Park.
