Hiking along the Little Deer Trail is wonderful fun, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Stowe. The Silver Ledge Trail offers hiking at its best, and get soaked paddling on Minister Brook. Onion River Campground is an old favorite with folks in Marshfield. This camp ground is one of the great spots to camp here in the Green Mountains. For the duration of the summer at Onion River Campground temperatures are usually in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Onion River Campground.
