Old Lantern Campground, Vermont   The Old Lantern is no longer used as a campground. Only the large barn is rented out for events, but no overnight accomodations are available currently. Says Lisa Several folks stay here so they can go to Mt. Philo State Park. Kingsland Bay State Park is a perfect spot to go if you're at Old Lantern Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Boquet River - North Branch. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Old Lantern Campground; the month with most of the rain is August, and the     driest of the months is February. But wait, there's more to do close to Old Lantern Campground. On a wonderful day at Old Lantern Campground you can take a hike along the Abbey Pond Trail, and a trip to Mt. Philo State Park revitalizes the spirit. In Vermont you never run out of outdoors fun things. This is in fact a brilliant campground. This campground is so pretty. Here at Old Lantern Campground you'll perhaps meet some folks from Charlotte, and for you golfers we recommend close by Kwiniaska; Golf Club. Summertime highs at Old Lantern Campground mostly tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Old Lantern Campground sink into the 0's. You'll never forgive yourself if you   don’t go skiing at Cochran Ski Center since you're here, and Pringle Brook is in close proximity to Old Lantern Campground and is always a joy to pop by. The brilliant people who operate this place and all the fun things are rather remarkable. Quite a lot of fun things to do in the vicinity of Old Lantern Campground, and it indisputably is a brilliant campground. There is a great hiking trail near Old Lantern Campground called the Beaver Meadow Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Boquet River offers some tremendous whitewater. Alright, you've been indoors for too much time, time to go camping, and Old Lantern Campground, Vermont is a brilliant place for getting out. Old Lantern Campground is a very well esteemed campground by the residents of Charlotte. Some of the things you can do here at Old Lantern Campground are playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
