| | | State Park. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are splendid reasons to come. Quite a lot of enjoyable things to do right next door to Old Lantern Campground, and when you spend some time here you will feel like a new person. If you are in Vermont through camping season, you have to go camping. A magnificent 10-mile-long whitewater part on Lewis Creek is nearby. This, the Prindle Corner to Lake Champlain segment, is a type II. | |

conditions before heading out. You'll meet a lot of people from Charlotte here, and why not bring the young ones to Zachary's Family Fun Center during your stay at Old Lantern Campground. Pringle Brook is a good local stream, and the wonderful marina of Essex Shipyard & Rudder Club is an excellent place to leave dry land behind. This campground is so great.
