A campground like this is too perfect to miss. Morrisville Village Municipal Forest is a nice forest area near Mountain View Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mountain View Campground; Hedgehop Hill Loop Trail is a wonderful local trail. Much precipitation falls at Mountain View Campground; August is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. An afternoon playing golf at Farm Resort & Golf Course is always a joy, and you can have   a pleasant hiking adventure along the Dalley Loop Trail. This is a perfect campground. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Lamoille River - Wild Branch; Mountain View Campground is not far at all from Lake Elmore. For the period of the days of summer at Mountain View Campground highs are typically in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Mountain View Campground dip into the 0's. Lake Elmore Dam is worth going to while you're here, and Smugglers Notch has good slopes and a friendly staff. Having a pleasant time at Mountain View Campground is simple. A golf course next to Mountain View Campground is Copley Golf Course, and do take a hike on the Haselton Trail. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Green Mountains will keep you coming back many times. If the weather is beautiful, you acquire a good panorama of Toothaker Hill from Mountain View Campground, and great hiking is available along the Bayley Hazen Military Road Trail. There's whitewater on Gihon River for all you adrenaline people, and some of the water close by flows, like Elmore Pond Brook. Yeah, come up here to the Green Mountains for a good time. You can run the rapids of Minister Brook next to Mountain View Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the The Long Trail.
