| | is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and there's whitewater on Mad River for all you adrenaline people. And that's not all there is to do here in the Green Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Clark Brook Trail, and Montague Golf Club is a tremendous golf course nearby. This is such a delightful campground. best, and Silver Lake State Park is a good site to have a look at on a lovely day. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Abel Mountain Campground has it all. The annual rain here at Abel Mountain Campground is about average; most of the rain falls through August;
February on the other hand is the driest. And that's not all you can do here at Abel Mountain Campground. A cool spot to stop at near Abel Mountain Campground is General Thomas Monument, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Riford Brook. Take a hike on the Circle
Trail; there's brilliant hiking along the Bear Hill Trail. This is such a fine campground. During your journey to Abel Mountain Campground you'll meet some folks from Randolph for sure, and the snow is great at Twin Farms. High temperatures at Abel Mountain Campground throughout
the summertime months are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Abel Mountain Campground are in the 0's. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, White River offers some pleasant whitewater; a tour to Allis State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
