is a great hiking trail right next door to Lakeside Camping Area called the Loggers Loop Trail; the friendly people of Island Pond like to hang out close by. Summertime at Lakeside Camping Area arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures
are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lakeside Camping Area temperatures dip to the-10's.
