    is always a great adventure, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Poultney River. Some of the things you can do here at Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground are fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so it's impossible
to get bored.
Why not stop by Prospect Point also while you're here, and you can go for a hike on the Chandler Ridge Trail. A common amount of rain falls here at Lake Bomoseen Camp Ground; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. This is a nice campground. Bomoseen State Park is a good place to stretch your legs a bit, and there are pleasant sites to look at along the Daniel Coffey Memorial Trial.
