Holysmoke Camps, Green Mountains, Vermont   Holysmoke Camps is a popular spot with the people in Bennington. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Holysmoke Camps. This campground has so much fun stuff to offer. Going to Shaftsbury State Park near Holysmoke Camps is a brilliant thing to do; at Holysmoke Camps you always meet someone from Bennington. Just can't get enough of the Green Mountains. A trip to Woodford State Park when you're here at Holysmoke Camps is never a bad idea; tremendous skiing awaits   you at Mount Greylock Ski Club. Walloomsac River is a glorious whitewater spot near Holysmoke Camps; nearby you find the Bald Mountain Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This campground is so brilliant. There are magnificent spots to discover along the Atwood Trail, and a golf course close by is MT Anthony Country Club. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Holysmoke Camps. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Battenkill River; the Healing Springs Nature Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Camping in Vermont is such a fun thing to do. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Holysmoke Camps; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month. When was the last time you went camping?
