A lot of people stay at Hidden Valley Campgrounds to be near Wilgus State Park. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Green Mountains. Ascutney State Park is a picturesque place any time of year, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Slot Trail.
This is such a magnificent campground. A round of golf at nearby Crown Point Country Club is a delightful way to kill some time, and close by you discover the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails which is a good hiking trail. The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back repeatedly. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Hidden Valley Campgrounds. There are plenty of folks from North Springfield here at Hidden Valley Campgrounds, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Hang Glider Trail.
Saxton's River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and the Futures Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in the neighborhood such as fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, playing golf, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. Don't forget to take a good little trip to Beaver Meadow Brook, and Wilgus State Park is a fine place to stretch your legs a bit.
