camp here for the purpose of being close to Wilgus State Park. There's nice hiking along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails, and get dripping wet paddling on Saxton's River. A tour to Ascutney State Park revitalizes the soul, and the Hamilton Falls Trail offers hiking at its best.

Good hiking is available along the Futures Trail, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Quarry Pond is just a very short distance away. Don't leave Hidden Valley Campgrounds without first going for a hike along the Slot Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River.
Hidden Valley Campgrounds is a campground loved by the people of North Springfield. This campground is a pretty location to pop by. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Williams River, and if you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Crown Point Country Club.
