vicinity of Hapgood Pond. You don’t have to go far from Hapgood Pond to distinguish the water at Patch Dam, and for you golfers we recommend close by Stonehedge Golf Course. Gifford Woods State Park is a good place to stretch your legs a bit, and golf can be played at Proctor-Pittsford
| Country Club. It's impossible to run out of exciting stuff to do near Hapgood Pond; it's one of those spots where everything is good. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting things to do in the Green Mountains. While you're here at Hapgood Pond, you could also pop by striking Dunklee Pond, and if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Rutland Country Club. hike on the New Boston Trail is always a perfect adventure. The staff who's always there to help and all the exciting stuff to do attract folks from far and wide. This camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the Green Mountains. Some of the things you can do
here at Hapgood Pond are playing golf, swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Hapgood Pond; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the
least amount of precipitation. Go for a hike on the Keewaydin Trail, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Rutland here. Pack your tent and sleeping bag and head out on the road; Hapgood Pond is a good local campground if you happen to be in Vermont. There's whitewater
on Clarendon River for all you adrenaline kick people, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Canty Trail. This campground is so nice. Near Hapgood Pond you locate the South Pond Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and when you're here it's always fun to have
a look at Green Mountain National Forest. This is a nice campground. Tenney Brook is a wonderful stream that is worth checking out, and there are perfect places to discover along the Bucklin Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Hapgood Pond, and the overnight is somewhat
chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Hapgood Pond. You definitely have to like the Green Mountains. Some wonderful nature is available in Rutland Municipal Forest.
