Green Valley Campground is right by the Owls Head Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Minister Brook. Green Valley Campground is a very popular campground with the people from North Montpelier. So much cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. While you're here at Green Valley Campground, you could also check out beautiful Crystal Pool, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Green Valley Campground;
    Kettle Pond Trail is a glorious local trail.
The workforce that controls this campground and the large number of fun things to do are in themselves reason enough to come here. Some people stay at Green Valley Campground so they can go to New Discovery State Park. This is no
spot for people who don’t like to have a good time.
Hiking along the Little Deer Trail is magnificent fun, and don't leave without stopping by Elmore State Park. This place, the Green Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Silver Ledge Trail, and the summit of Gallup Hill can be seen from Green Valley Campground.
Scores of fun is at this campground. Take a hike on the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop; there are some good whitewater spots on Winooski River. If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied;
 
there's playing golf, fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This part of Vermont has a great deal of outdoors activities offered.
This campground is a pleasant site to visit. While you're here at Green Valley Campground you will meet lots of people from close by North Montpelier; New Discovery State Park is a nice place to go. There's whitewater on Mad River for all you thrill seekers, and why not take a little spree to Sodom Pond Brook since you're here. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Stowe is in the vicinity of Green Valley Campground; enjoy a round of golf at Country Club of Barre.
At Green Valley Campground through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 60's; the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Green Valley Campground. Green Valley Campground is a glorious camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Green Mountains.
So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back time and again. All the water falling down from the sky makes Green Valley Campground a wet place; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. Quite a lot of fun things to do close to Green Valley Campground; to be at this campground is great fun any time.
It's really unhealthy to be inside all the time; you've got to get out of the house now and then; Green Valley Campground in Vermont is a great location to go.
