Take a hike on the Osmore Pond Hiking Loop; there are some good whitewater spots on Winooski River. If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied;   there's playing golf, fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This part of Vermont has a great deal of outdoors activities offered. This campground is a pleasant site to visit. While you're here at Green Valley Campground you will meet lots of people from close by North Montpelier; New Discovery State Park is a nice place to go. There's whitewater on Mad River for all you thrill seekers, and why not take a little spree to Sodom Pond Brook since you're here. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Stowe is in the vicinity of Green Valley Campground; enjoy a round of golf at Country Club of Barre. At Green Valley Campground through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 60's; the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Green Valley Campground.
