  There is so much fun stuff to do right next door to Goose Point Campground, and it is a fun place for young and old. From a rain point of view Goose Point Campground is a pretty typical place; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is January. A tour to North Hero State Park invigorates the spirit, and you simply should stop at Big Bluff since you're here at Goose Point Campground. Going camping for a couple of days here in Vermont is something you have to do.
This is such a magnificent campground. Whitewater paddling
    is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Browns River; Goose Point is not far at all. There's such a large number of things to do at Goose Point Campground including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. There are some brilliant
whitewater spots on Saranac River, and some of the water nearby flows, like Mud Creek.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River; do take a hike on the Southern Tip Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Goose Point Campground. Everybody loves Alburg Dunes State Park; no need to travel far to pop by exciting stuff like Little Bluff.
This is such a beautiful campground. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Island Farm Nature Trail, and why not take a refreshing hike along the North Shore Trail. Goose Point Campground is exceptionally
 
well loved by folks from Alburg.
If you're popping by Goose Point Campground from Alburg, you won't be the only one, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Goose Point Campground; West Shore Trail is a great local trail.
It's bad for you to spend too much time in the city; you need to get out every now and then, and Goose Point Campground in Vermont is such a nice place. The caring staff and the tremendous quality of everything here makes the trip here worthwhile. Loads of folks stay at Goose Point Campground through their journey to North Hero State Park.
