From a rain point of view Goose Point Campground is a pretty typical place; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is January. A tour to North Hero State Park invigorates the spirit, and you simply should stop at Big Bluff since you're here at Goose Point Campground. Going camping for a couple of days here in Vermont is something you have to do.

Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River; do take a hike on the Southern Tip Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Goose Point Campground. Everybody loves Alburg Dunes State Park; no need to travel far to pop by exciting stuff like Little Bluff.
