Country Village Campgrounds, Vermont

| | Country Village Campground is a beautiful wooded and private spot that is located right in the middle of the state. It is within 5 miles of Brandon, Fern Lake and Otter Creek, and within 15 miles of Middlebury, Rutland, Lake Dunmore, Salisbury and several other small towns. Brandon is a well-known artist's village that is famous for several galleries shops and restaurants, and home to the well-know artist Warren Kimball. the year.
Country Village Campground has 41 spacious sites that can accommodate small tents all the way up to the largest of campers. The bath house is clean and spacious with hot showers, and it is located right in the middle of the campground for easy access to all sites. A
| trip to Country Village Campground wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Branbury State Park; nearby you hit upon the Silver Lake Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Camping in Vermont is such a fun thing to do. All the nice local attractions in close proximity and the nice variety of outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back persistently.

to Neshobe River from Country Village Campground is simple, and Middlebury River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Outdoor recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is swimming, playing golf at Neshobe Golf Club, whitewater paddling, hiking,
and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do.
The folks who look after the campground and all the nice pastime activities will make you feel at home. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Country Village Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is
close.
If only every location had this much outdoor entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A tremendous place like Half Moon Pond State Park is near Country Village Campground and is too wonderful to leave out, and going for a hike on the Falls of Lana Trail
is always a perfect adventure. All through the warm days of summer at Country Village Campground highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's. When the weather is good here
at Country Village Campground, you can go for a hike along the Chandler Ridge Trail, and the friendly people of Brandon like to hang out nearby. The Duval Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Country Village Campground, and a day on Pico Mountain is just what you need.
This
campground is a stunning spot to go to. An average amount of precipitation falls at Country Village Campground; most of the rain falls throughout August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Otter
Creek, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Leicester Hollow Trail.
Not far from Country Village Campgrounds, you'll discover Fern Lake which is a lovely lake, and soar down the rapids of Clarendon River in a kayak. Country Village Campgrounds gets a common
amount of yearly rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This campground is so picturesque. While you're here at Country Village Campgrounds you can play some golf at Neshobe Golf Club, and why not take a refreshing
hike along the Duval Trail. Half Moon Pond State Park is a good place to pop by, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Otter Creek. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do right next door to Country Village Campgrounds. Get dripping wet paddling on Middlebury
River, and do take a hike on the Silver Lake Trail. Visit Neshobe River while you're here at Country Village Campgrounds; you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Falls of Lana Trail. This is truly a brilliant campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Country
Village Campgrounds; Chandler Ridge Trail is a great local trail, and if you're visiting from Brandon, you won't be the only one. Branbury State Park is a delightful place any time of year, and the Leicester Hollow Trail offers hiking at its best. You can never get enough of
the great skiing at Pico Mountain. Through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Country Village Campgrounds; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Country Village Campgrounds dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
