of Ascutney State Park. Caton Place Campground is a campground that is enormously loved by the people in Cavendish. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Okemo Valley Golf Club is in close proximity, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Caton Place Campground;
Futures Trail is a nice local trail. And that's not all you can do here in the Green Mountains. There's whitewater on Black River for all you thrill seekers; Ascutney State Park is a magnificent spot to stretch your legs a bit. Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of
Williams River, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Knapp Brook Ponds is one of those close by. This is such a striking campground. near Caton Place Campground you'll come across a wooded region called Proctor-Piper State Forest, and there's pleasant hiking along
the Slot Trail. The yearly rainfall here at Caton Place Campground is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. The folks who look after the campground and the pleasant mass of fun activities makes the tour here worthwhile.
This section of Vermont has a great deal of outdoors activities on hand. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Cavendish Gorge is a wonderful location to spend some time at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Peg Foot and Bridal Trails.
