Camp Skyland, Vermont   As long as you love the outdoors you will love Vermont. Summer at Camp Skyland comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Camp Skyland is a top choice with the folks from Grand Isle. Go for a hike on the North Shore Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Cochran Ski Center is reasonably near. Among the things you can do near Camp Skyland are fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so it's just not possible to get bored. Alright, it's been too long since you went outside, time to go camping; Camp Skyland is a brilliant local campground if you happen to be in Vermont. Get wet paddling on Ausable River, and you'll in all probability meet some people from Grand Isle here. It's out of the question to run out of cool stuff to do in the vicinity of Camp Skyland; when you get to enjoy this place for a while you will feel like another   person. Camp Skyland gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; through August this area sees the most rain while January is commonly the driest month. A lake close by is Lake Champlain; close by you stumble on the Southern Tip Trail which is a good hiking trail. This site is excellent, just check out all the cool stuff to do right next door to Camp Skyland. Places like Grand Isle State Park are good to explore, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the West Shore Trail. Some folks stay at Camp Skyland when they come to pop by Grand Isle State Park. Such a nice selection of attractions and such a large number of things to do will unquestionably have you coming back repeatedly. Allen Point is rather near Camp Skyland, and drift down the rapids of Boquet River in a kayak.
