Nearby there is a great 21.5-mile-in-distance grade I-III whitewater section, the Route 16 north of Glover to Lake Memphremagog sector of Barton River. If you don’t want to risk getting drenched this       section of Barton River is probably not for you. Don't go whitewater rafting and kayaking before first checking the situation; it's perilous stuff. The Pisgah Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to Belview Campground; if you   like skiing, you're in luck; Lyndon Outing Club is rather near. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Green Mountains. Have a good hiking adventure along the Herbert Hawkes Hiking Trail; a trip to a close by bowling alley like Gold Crown Lanes is always exciting. Scores of fun is at this campground.
