Apple Island Resort, Vermont

  This is such a good campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Apple Island Resort; Southern Tip Trail is a fine local trail. The accommodating operators of the campground and all the enjoyable stuff are cause enough to come here. The yearly rain here at Apple Island Resort is about average; most of the rain falls during August while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A spree to Sandbar State Park revitalizes the spirit, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Ausable River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to
    Apple Island Resort; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Apple Island Resort dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. It's really unhealthy to be in a building every day; you have to get out of
the house occasionally, and Apple Island Resort in Vermont is a really good place to spend some time.
Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Salmon River, and the Island Farm Nature Trail offers hiking at its best. This campground is so good. While you're here at Apple Island Resort you will meet lots of folks from nearby Grand Isle; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boquet River.
If you like the outdoors, you'll love Apple Island Resort. Grand Isle State Park is a brilliant location; since you're
 
here and you like golf, you can stop at Wilcox Cove Cottages & Golf Course. Lots of folks camp here so they can go to Grand Isle State Park. There's more to do near Apple Island Resort other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so you won’t run out of things to do.
Apple Island Resort is a very popular campground among folks of Grand Isle.
The slopes of Cochran Ski Center are so inviting noone can resist, and why not take a refreshing hike along the North Shore Trail. Vermont has scores of outdoors activities. Good hiking is available along the West Shore Trail; do schedule some time to explore Paradise Bay if you have a chance.
The pleasant variety of local attractions and such a pleasant variety of outdoors recreation are glorious causes to come.
