| | This is such a good campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Apple Island Resort; Southern Tip Trail is a fine local trail. The accommodating operators of the campground and all the enjoyable stuff are cause enough to come here. The yearly rain here at Apple Island Resort is about average; most of the rain falls during August while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

The slopes of Cochran Ski Center are so inviting noone can resist, and why not take a refreshing hike along the North Shore Trail. Vermont has scores of outdoors activities.
Good hiking is available along the West Shore Trail; do schedule some time to explore Paradise Bay if you have a chance.
