| | A campground like this is too great to miss. There's whitewater on Big Cottonwood Creek for all you adrenaline junkies; the Mount Timpanogos Trail offers hiking at its best. Around Tinney Flat you don’t get a lot of precipitation; all through the month of April you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. This is a great campground. Utah Lake State Park is a good location to go to.

Among the things you can do in the neighborhood of Tinney Flat are whitewater paddling, playing golf, and hiking, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen. There are some nice whitewater spots on Provo River, and you'll probably meet some folks from Provo-Orem here. Big Dry Creek is in the neighborhood of Tinney Flat and is always a delight to stop at; there's wonderful hiking along the Indian Trail.

to do. Summertime highs at Tinney Flat mostly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Tinney Flat are in the 10's. Deer Creek State Park is a nice place;
