Timpooneke - Uinta National Forest, Wasatch Range, Utah   Camping in Utah is such a fun activity. And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool things to do in the Wasatch Range. Take a side journey to Mill Race, and you'll meet a lot of people from Provo here. Timpooneke is a very well prized campground by folks in Provo. Some activities here at Timpooneke are playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. This camp ground is one of the great sites to camp here in the Wasatch Range. Don't leave Timpooneke without first going for a hike along the Mount Timpanogos Trail, and a delightful     location for whitewater paddling is Spanish Fork. The staff who's always there to help and the admirably taken care of facilities are in themselves motive enough to come here. This campground has so much enjoyable stuff to offer. Big Cottonwood Creek is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Timpooneke, and if you have time, Timpanogos Cave National Monument is a national park worth going to. For the duration of the summer here at Timpooneke, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Timpooneke. Scores of folks camp here so they can go to Utah Lake State Park. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. A trip to California National Historic   Trail is worthwhile. Got cabin fever from too much time inside, Don't be troubled; Timpooneke, Utah is a brilliant spot for getting out. If you're here at Timpooneke and you like golf, you can stop at East Bay Golf Course, and Utah Lake State Park is a delightful location any time of year. The glorious variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Wasatch Range. Deer Creek State Park is a tremendous place to explore, and you can run the rapids of Provo River. Timpooneke is to be found in a region with scores of cool stuff to do; to be here is brilliant fun any time. Around Timpooneke you don’t get a lot of rainfall; all through April this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Timpooneke. Head up to Sundance and strap some skis to your feet, and there are magnificent locations to discover along the Indian Trail.
