During the months of summer at Sunrise Campground highs are generally in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Sunrise Campground dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Sunrise Campground is a location that is pretty dry mostly; April is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is   July. Lots of people from North Salt Lake come to Sunrise Campground, and nearby you stumble on great locations like City Creek Canyon. This campground is so tremendous. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Desolation Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Old Mill Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time. Get your sleeping bag packed and leave the city behind; Sunrise Campground is a glorious local campground if you happen to be in Utah. The delightful variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are tremendous causes to come. There is so much cool stuff to do near Sunrise Campground, and to be here is always fun. This is such a tremendous campground. Playing golf is lots of fun at University Golf Course; you can run the rapids of Little Cottonwood Creek. Having a nice time at Sunrise Campground is simple. You'll come across a charming lake called Morris Reservoir near Sunrise Campground, and Forest Dale Golf Course is a magnificent golf course nearby. Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail is a very splendid location to take a look at near Sunrise Campground, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jordan River.
