Hiking is a popular thing to do around Spruces; Lake Desolation Trail is a great local trail, and why not have a look at nearby City Creek while you're here at Spruces.

the neighborhood of Spruces; for you golfers we recommend nearby Old Mill Golf Course. A visit to City Creek Canyon is always fun, and there's magnificent hiking along the The Sheep Trail.

| at Spruces; if you've had enough of Spruces, Morris Reservoir is nearby. Famous Utah kindness and the great quantity of exciting things to do have people coming from near and far.
During the warmest time of the year at Spruces highs are usually in the 90's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Spruces are in the 10's. There's so much to do at Spruces including playing golf, hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Snowbird has pleasant slopes
and a friendly staff; Jordan River State Park is a great place.
This campground is so great. Golf can be played at Forest Dale Golf Course, and Ensign Peak can be spotted from Spruces. Finally, camping time is here again; Spruces is a great local campground if you happen to
be in Utah. So much cool stuff close to Spruces; if you're trying to find a great location to go camping for a couple of days, this is a great choice.
At this campground you will always have a great time. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Big Cottonwood
Creek, and naturally, everybody loves This Is The Place State Park. Around Spruces you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is April while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You can run the rapids of Jordan River right next door to
Spruces; an afternoon playing golf at University Golf Course is always a joy.
Spruces is a campground reasonably often visited by the folks in North Salt Lake.
