| | Coming to this campground is always a wonderful idea. Big Cottonwood Creek is a perfect whitewater spot in the vicinity of Soapstone, and a tour to Jordan River State Park revives the spirit. This campground is a wonderful location to have a look at. Hit the slopes at Snowbird around here; for you golfers we recommend nearby Old Mill Golf Course. Everybody loves This Is The Place State Park. Lakes are delightful; Morris Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Soapstone.

Summertime highs at Soapstone usually tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for
| Soapstone tend to be in the 10's. This location is great, just look at all the enjoyable things to do near Soapstone. Nearby City Creek Canyon is a great site to go if you're at Soapstone, and great hiking is available along the Lake Desolation Trail. Several people opt for this campground so they can go to California National Historic Trail.

good place to pop by. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Soapstone is Little Cottonwood Creek, and if you're looking for a nice trip, Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail is quite near.
As long as you go for the outdoors you will go for Utah.
If you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is Forest Dale Golf Course, and Ensign Peak is stunning and can be seen from here. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jordan River, and University Golf Course is a golf course nearby.
Got cabin fever from too much time indoors, No problem; Soapstone in Utah is a delightful spot to go. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is fishing, swimming, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so perhaps you want to stay a bit.
You're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from North Salt Lake here, and don't leave Soapstone without first going for a hike along the The Sheep Trail. Soapstone is a campground that is extremely loved by the people in North Salt Lake.
The folks who take care of the campground
and all the fun stuff to do have folks coming from all over. Soapstone is pretty dried out regularly; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July.
