Rockport State Park, Wasatch Range, Utah

  If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Rockport State Park. There is a great hiking trail near Rockport State Park called the Union Pacific Rail Trail; Rockport State Park is not far at all from Peoa. At Rockport State Park entertaining stuff to do is bountiful; if you're searching for a magnificent spot to go camping, this is a brilliant choice. So many exciting things to do in the Wasatch Range, not enough time. A splendid place to visit in close proximity to Rockport State Park is Kamas Valley, and dropping by Timpanogos
    Cave National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
The obliging operators of the campground and the admirably maintained facilities makes the spree here worthwhile. At Rockport State Park during the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during
summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rockport State Park are in the 10's. Near Rockport State Park you discover the Lake Desolation Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and float down the rapids of East Canyon Creek in a kayak.
All the tremendous local attractions close by and all the outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back time and again. This campground is a striking site to explore. Rockport State Park is worth stopping at if you're at Rockport State Park;
 
whitewater paddling is pleasant on Chalk Creek. You really can't spend too much time indoors; you've gotta get out from time to time; Rockport State Park in Utah is a really magnificent spot to spend some time.

Paddling on Provo River is so much fun; Fort Creek is close to Rockport State Park and is always a delight to have a look at. There's lots of outdoors recreation available close by such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do.
