This is really a wonderful campground. A golf course in the vicinity of Richfield is Kokomo Executive Golf Course; there's magnificent hiking
| along the Point Trail. Scores of folks stay here to be right next door to Quail Creek State Park. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. If you come at the right time of year, Virgin River offers some great whitewater, and going for a hike on the Big Hollow Trail is always a great adventure.
A trip to Washington Fields revives the spirit, and you can go for a hike on the Goat Spring Trail.

Snow Canyon State Park is worth stopping at if you're at Richfield, and don't leave
Richfield without first going for a hike along the Summit Trail. Throughout the months of summer at Richfield highs are generally in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter
nights come with lows in the 20's to Richfield.
If you wish for a little side journey, try Middleton Wash, and Quail Creek State Park is a good spot to go. The pleasant folks working here and the incredibly skillfully managed facilities have scores of folks coming here. Not
much rain falls here at Richfield; through the month of March you get the most rain around here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
For you golfers we recommend nearby Green Spring Golf Course; the summit of Nichols Peak can be seen from Richfield.
