| | There's absolutely no way to get bored in Utah if you adore the outdoors. Some of the things you can do here at Pole Creek are hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and swimming, so it's completely out of the question to get bored.
A journey to Pole Creek wouldn’t be complete without a tour to nearby Steinaker State Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pole Creek; Uinta Highline Trail is a tremendous local trail. A glorious place like Red Fleet State Park in the vicinity of Pole Creek is too glorious to leave out, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Dinaland Golf Course. Some people choose Pole Creek so they can go to Steinaker State Park. Pole Creek is a great camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Uinta Mountains.

This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. The views at Dinosaur National Monument will blow your mind. Lakes? Sure, Steinaker Reservoir is in the vicinity. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Uinta Mountains.
Lots of people from Vernal come to Pole Creek, and since you're here at Pole Creek, checking out Rock Point is a must.
For the period of the long summer days here at Pole Creek, high temperatures typically get into the 90's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Pole Creek night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
