It's a pleasant idea to take a look at City Creek, it's close to Perception Park, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Cottonwood Creek. Perception Park is near Jordan River State Park which is a beautiful place. Lakes? Sure, Morris Reservoir is nearby. Several people stay at this campground so they can go to California National Historic Trail. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Perception Park will keep you coming back repeatedly. Near Perception Park you locate great locations like City Creek Canyon; a spree to California National Historic Trail is recommended. It's totally impossible to run out of fun stuff to   do near Perception Park; when you're here you're always having a great time. Perception Park gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is April, and July on the other hand is the driest. The friendly folks working here and the skillfully controlled operations have lots of folks coming here. This campground is so perfect. Head up to Snowbird and strap some skis to your feet; there's whitewater on Jordan River for all you thrill seekers. Among the things you can do near Perception Park are fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and playing golf, so you won’t run out of things to do. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the The Sheep Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Little Cottonwood Creek offers some great whitewater. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Perception Park, Utah is a great place for getting out. Looking for a good spree? Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail is pretty in the neighborhood of Perception Park, and Ensign Peak is wonderful and can be seen from here. At Perception Park during the warm months highs are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Perception Park night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
