  Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, you have to get out; Otter Creek State Park in Utah is a really brilliant location to spend some time. The brilliant folks who run this location and the enormously well controlled facilities makes the tour here worthwhile. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. There's great hiking along the Rim Trail, and Kodachrome Basin State Park is a great spot to go. Good hiking is available along the Queens Garden Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Cameron
    Wash Reservoir Number 1.
The great variety of local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Going for a hike on the Fairyland Loop Trail is always a great adventure, and don't
miss out on a journey to Bryce Canyon National Park while you're here. There's loads of outdoors recreation available nearby such as hiking, fishing, and swimming, so probably you want to stay a while.
Go for a hike on the Horse Trail, and don't leave without visiting Otter Creek State Park. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Otter Creek State Park; Navajo Loop Trail is a delightful local trail; while you're here why not stop at Mud Spring Draw.

Summertime highs at Otter Creek State Park regularly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Otter Creek State Park fall into the 10's. Otter Creek State Park gets very little rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture.
