Going for a hike on the Gunnison Trail is always a brilliant adventure; a good location is Sherman Wash. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Cottonwood Creek, and a journey here wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Millsite State Park. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen.

Near Old Folks Flat you stumble on the Chris Otteson Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Huntington State Park is worth a visit. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came.
