Mantua Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood, and drift down the rapids of Blacksmith Fork in a kayak. All through the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Mountain Haven Campground. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Wolf Mountain, and a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Hyrum State Park. anyone can get bored here in the Wasatch Range. Dock Flat is a charming place any time of year, and if you want a little side tour, try Big Hollow. This is such a delightful campground. Paddling on Weber River is so much fun. Ogden River has a good whitewater paddling spot close
by, and a quick spree to Big Creek is absolutely a tremendous idea. Mountain Haven Campground is exceptionally popular with the folks in Mantua. The delightful variety of local attractions and the delightful variety of outdoors recreation will unquestionably have you coming
back many times. Lots of folks opt for this campground when going to Hyrum State Park. Some of the things you can do here at Mountain Haven Campground are swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so perhaps you want to stay a while. The caring staff and all the
enjoyable things to do makes the journey here worthwhile. Not much rain falls here at Mountain Haven Campground; May is when you get the most rain here; July on the other hand is the driest.
