Sure, Morris Reservoir is in the vicinity; there's whitewater on Big Cottonwood Creek for all you adrenaline people. If time allows,     Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail is a national park worth going to, and This Is The Place State Park is a pleasant spot to go. Throughout the warm months at Moosehorn highs are mostly in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Moosehorn. Having a magnificent time at Moosehorn is easy. An afternoon playing golf at University Golf Course is always a pleasure; the Lake Desolation Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. Not much rain falls here at Moosehorn; most of the rain falls during April while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's loads of outdoors recreation available close by such as playing golf, swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling,   and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. There's so much to do in close proximity to Moosehorn, and scores of folks enjoy coming here to get away. Moosehorn is esteemed by folks from North Salt Lake. This is such a good campground. While you're here at Moosehorn you will meet lots of people from close by North Salt Lake, and a spree to Jordan River State Park rejuvenates the spirit. Playing golf is lots of fun at Forest Dale Golf Course, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Little Cottonwood Creek. All the outdoors amusing things in the vicinity of Moosehorn will keep you coming back time and again. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Jordan River; golf can be played at Old Mill Golf Course. Everybody needs to go for a weekend of camping sometimes, and Moosehorn is a great local campground if you happen to be in Utah. Take a side trip to City Creek, and California National Historic Trail is a splendid local destination. Hit the slopes at Snowbird around here; since you're here, you might as well pop by City Creek Canyon. All the lively folks and the tremendous facilities beat anything. Utah is a great site for outdoors folks.
