Soar down the rapids of Jordan River in a kayak, and if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a fine panorama of Ensign Peak from Monte Cristo. At Monte Cristo you don’t see much rain; April is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July.

Paddling on Big Cottonwood Creek is so much fun, and if you're here you can play some golf at Old
Mill Golf Course. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Monte Cristo with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Monte Cristo sink into the 10's.
