Maple Canyon - Manti-LaSal National Forest, Utah   At Maple Canyon exciting stuff to do is abundant, and to be at this place is always fun. There are some great whitewater spots on Huntington Creek. Maple Canyon is pretty dehydrated generally; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is April. While you're here at Maple Canyon you can take a hike along the Dry Wash Trail, and Millsite State Park is a brilliant place to stop by. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the amusing stuff you can do is hiking, whitewater paddling, and playing     golf, so almost certainly you want to stick around. So many local attractions and such a glorious variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Camping in Utah is such a fun activity. An afternoon playing golf at Millsite Golf Course is always a pleasure, and get wet paddling on Ferron Creek. During the summer months at Maple Canyon highs are typically in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows at Maple Canyon through the wintertime regularly fall into the 10's. Spending too much time inside got you down, No problem at all; Maple Canyon in Utah is precisely what you need. This is such a great campground. There is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Maple Canyon called the Gunnison   Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cottonwood Creek. A pleasant journey to Herring Flat is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, and Manti-LaSal National Forest is a glorious place. Be careful coming to Maple Canyon, you might not ever wanna go back home again. On a perfect day at Maple Canyon you can take a hike along the Blue Trail; during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Ferron for sure. Going for a hike along the Blue Dugway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; Indian Hollow is another great location to go to nearby. The people who take care of the campground and all the pleasant passtime activities are a glorious draw for scores of people. Lots of folks stay at this campground to be in close proximity to Millsite State Park. This is such a delightful campground. The Hole Trail is a nice hiking trail near Maple Canyon, and there's some interesting stuff to spot at Ferron Debris Basin Number Five Dam in the vicinity of Maple Canyon.
