| | All the delightful local attractions in close proximity and so much stuff to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back again and again. So many amusing things next to Mackinaw, absolutely unbelievable. There are good locations to discover along the Second Lefthand Fork Trail; Sevier River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. There's delightful hiking along the Koosharem Guard Station Scrub Flat Trail; Mackinaw is next to Cliff Canyon which is certainly worth going to.
Going to Piute State Park near Mackinaw is a good thing to do, |
and Elk Meadows has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. Some of the things you can do here at Mackinaw are hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so it's just not possible to get bored. This part of Utah has a nice deal of outdoors activities at your disposal.
| We all need to go for a weekend of camping from time to time, and Mackinaw is a nice local campground if you happen to be in Utah. Mackinaw is extremely popular with the residents of Annabella.
There are plenty of people from Annabella here at Mackinaw; float down the rapids of Clear Creek in a kayak. The workforce of this nice campground and the great great quantity of fun activities are reason enough to come here. At Mackinaw through the long summer days highs are in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. | |

For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Mackinaw nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
Quite a lot of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Mackinaw, and when you're here you're always having a nice time. This is such a charming
campground. A delightful spot like Fremont Indian State Park in the vicinity of Mackinaw is too wonderful to leave out, and paddling on Salina Creek is so much fun. This campground is always a pleasure. Going for a hike on the Winkel Bob Trail is always a tremendous adventure,
and some of the water close by flows, like Cottonwood Creek.
Don't leave Mackinaw without first going for a hike along the Third Lefthand Fork Trail. Mackinaw is a location that is pretty dried out usually; March is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with
the least moisture. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mackinaw; Serviceberry Trail is a good local trail; while you're here, you could also pop by beautiful Hepplers Ponds.
