| | If you come to this campground, you will have a fine time for sure. While you're here at Lower Provo, you could also have a look at stunning Morris Reservoir; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Forest Dale Golf Course is in the neighborhood. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Jordan River; This Is The Place State Park is both tremendous and wonderful. City Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail is a glorious local destination.
Summertime highs at Lower Provo |
generally tend to be in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lower Provo sink into the 10's.
Don't leave Lower Provo without first going
| for a hike along the The Sheep Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Cottonwood Creek. There are so many cool things to do in the vicinity of Lower Provo, and to be at this campground is always fun.
Good hiking is available along the Lake Desolation Trail; since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby North Salt Lake. Camping in Utah is such an enjoyable thing to do. The tremendous local attractions and so much to do are wonderful incentives to come.

long, it's time to go camping, and Lower Provo in Utah is a good place to go. Lower Provo is pretty waterless generally; during the month of April you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. Very picturesque scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Snowbird;
a round of golf at nearby Old Mill Golf Course is a great way to kill some time.
Lower Provo in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Jordan River State Park is a good site to explore on a pretty day, and playing golf is lots of fun at University Golf Course.
The personnel of this good campground and the loveliness of the place are in themselves incentive enough to come here. This campground has everything. City Creek Canyon is a fine site to spend some time at, and there are some good whitewater spots on Little Cottonwood Creek.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Lower Provo has to offer. The view of picturesque Ensign Peak near Lower Provo is good; don't miss out on a spree to California National Historic Trail while you're here. Lower Provo is a campground liked by residents of North Salt Lake.
Loads of people stay at this campground so they can go to California National Historic Trail.
