Ledgefork - Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Utah

| | Pack your camping stuff and head out on the road; Ledgefork is a nice local campground if you happen to be in Utah. This is such a beautiful campground. Don't leave Ledgefork without stopping by This Is The Place State Park, and from Ledgefork you get a wonderful panorama of Ensign Peak. You can run the rapids of Big Cottonwood Creek right next door to Ledgefork; City Creek Canyon is a nice place to take a look at.
Ledgefork in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Little Cottonwood Creek, |
and do take a hike on the The Sheep Trail. The kind staff and the huge amount of enjoyable stuff to do are rather remarkable. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are nice motives to come.
Through the warm months highs here at Ledgefork get into the 90's.
| When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Ledgefork dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. While visiting this vicinity in Utah it's a nice idea to go for a weekend of camping too. There's such an incredible array of things to do in the neighborhood of Ledgefork, and being here is nice fun any time.

you can play some golf at Forest Dale Golf Course. As if Ledgefork wasn't sufficient, you can also go playing golf, fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored.
University Golf Course is a pleasant golf course nearby; Jordan River State Park is
worth going to.
Many folks stay at this campground when going to California National Historic Trail. This is such a nice campground. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Ledgefork is Jordan River, and enjoy a round of golf at Old Mill Golf Course.
Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail is one of the destinations next to Ledgefork that are brilliant to go to; unsurprisingly City Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area right next door to Ledgefork
has to offer. Have a good hiking adventure along the Lake Desolation Trail, and you're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Morris Reservoir is one of those close by.
Around Ledgefork you don’t get a lot of rain; April is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. Head up to Snowbird and strap some skis to your feet, and Ledgefork is a site with many visitors from North Salt Lake.
