| | If you come at the right time of year, Huntington Creek offers some glorious whitewater. Among the things you can do in close proximity to Lake Hill are playing golf, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. This campground has everything. Herring Flat is a tremendous spot; why not take a refreshing hike along the Gunnison Trail.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Millsite State Park is worth visiting if you're at Lake Hill, and tremendous hiking is available along the Dry Wash Trail. For the period of the |
warm months highs here at Lake Hill get into the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Hill dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
There's brilliant hiking along the Blue
| Trail, and get wet paddling on Ferron Creek. Millsite Golf Course is a golf course near Lake Hill; you can go for a hike on the Blue Dugway.
With such a great deal of things to do in Utah you'll never get bored. Lots of folks stay at Lake Hill through their spree to Millsite State Park. The magnificent local attractions and such a magnificent variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came.
Lake Hill is a campground prized by folks from Ferron. So much entertaining stuff near Lake Hill, and it is a fine campground.

is a fun thing to do, and Lake Hill in Utah is a fine pick. An interesting thing to visit close to Lake Hill is Ferron Debris Basin Number Five Dam, and glide down the rapids of Cottonwood Creek in a kayak. A lot of fun is at this campground. A trip to Lake Hill wouldn’t be complete
without a trip to nearby Manti-LaSal National Forest, and nearby you stumble on Indian Hollow which is a magnificent place to check out.
The staff that controls this campground and the splendor of the site have scores of people coming here. Not much rainfall falls here at Lake
Hill; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month of the year is April. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Hill; Hole Trail is a great local trail; folks from Ferron love to come here.
