Lake Hill - Manti-LaSal National Forest, Utah   Scores of folks camp here for the purpose of being near Millsite State Park. Going for a hike on the Dry Wash Trail is always a good adventure, and Millsite State Park is a striking site any time of year. The pleasant reception and all the entertaining stuff to do are in themselves incentive enough to come here. At Lake Hill fun stuff to do is plentiful; to be at this place is always fun. This part of Utah is always a bliss to stop at during camping season. Good hiking is available along the Hole Trail; don’t forget to pop by Herring Flat since you're     here at Lake Hill. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things next to Lake Hill. Lots of folks from Ferron come to Lake Hill, and glide down the rapids of Huntington Creek in a kayak. The good pick of local attractions, and such a large number of things to do will without doubt have you coming back many times. This is beyond doubt a perfect campground. A golf course right next door to Lake Hill is Millsite Golf Course, and you can go for a hike on the Blue Trail. Manti-LaSal National Forest is a glorious place to explore, and a pleasant spot nearby is Indian Hollow. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Hill, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Hill are in the 10's. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some   of the entertaining stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so you won’t run out of things to do. This campground is so stunning. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake Hill called the Blue Dugway, and get drenched paddling on Cottonwood Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Hill; Gunnison Trail is a fine local trail, and Ferron Debris Basin Number Five Dam is picturesque. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Ferron Creek. Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, you need to get out of the house; Lake Hill in Utah is a really great spot to spend some time. Lake Hill is pretty dried out usually; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
