Kings Creek is a location that is relatively dried out commonly; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is June. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Virgin River - North Fork, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Alpine Pond Trail.
