Here at Granite Flat Utah there are plenty of folks from Provo-Orem; if you come at the right time of year, Spanish Fork offers some great whitewater. Utah Lake State Park is a pretty place any time of year; close by you come across Provo Bay.

At Granite Flat Utah you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls throughout April while July is commonly the driest month. This is such a great campground. If you haven’t been to Timpanogos Cave National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here, and glide down the rapids of Provo River in a kayak.

to take a fine little spree to Big Dry Creek, and there's nice hiking along the Mount Timpanogos Trail.
So many local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back many times. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Granite
Flat Utah. Head up to Sundance and strap some skis to your feet, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Cottonwood Creek. Good hiking is available along the Indian Trail; places like Deer Creek State Park are good to stop at.
Granite Flat Utah is a very well liked campground by people in Orem.
