Gooseberry Reservoir - Manti-LaSal National Forest, Utah   The wonderful variety of local attractions and so much stuff to do will undeniably have you coming back again and again. There are so many exciting things to do right next door to Gooseberry Reservoir; camping is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a good site to do that. Don’t forget to take a look at Herring Flat since you're here at Gooseberry Reservoir, and Cottonwood Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Gunnison Trail, and whitewater paddling is fine on Huntington Creek. Not much     rainfall falls here at Gooseberry Reservoir; August is the month that gets the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Utah. The caring surroundings and the great facilities beat anything. At Gooseberry Reservoir through the summertime highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Gooseberry Reservoir through the winter mostly drop into the 10's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Blue Dugway, and you don’t have to go far from Gooseberry Reservoir to distinguish the water at Ferron Debris Basin Number Five Dam. This campground is so striking. Hiking along the Hole Trail is tremendous fun, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go   whitewater paddling on Ferron Creek. There's more to do in the neighborhood of Gooseberry Reservoir other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, playing golf, and hiking, so running out of amusing things to do won’t happen. Several folks stay here during their trip to Millsite State Park. A trip to Millsite State Park when you're here at Gooseberry Reservoir is never a bad idea; since you're here why not explore Indian Hollow. This spot is so good, just look at all the exciting stuff to do next to Gooseberry Reservoir. Take a hike on the Blue Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Millsite Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. Gooseberry Reservoir is a very popular campground among folks of Ferron.
