Near Deer Haven you find a golf course called Cedar Ridge Golf Course; hiking is a popular thing to do around Deer Haven; Rattlesnake Creek Trail is a glorious local trail.
At Deer Haven you don’t see much rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. Several people stay at this campground so they can go to Cedar Breaks National Monument.
