Currant Creek - Uinta National Forest, Utah

| | If you come to this campground, you will have a delightful time for sure. Drift down the rapids of Provo River in a kayak; dropping by Timpanogos Cave National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This campground has so incredibly much. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Cottonwood Creek. Famous Utah generosity and the large number of exciting things to do makes the journey here worthwhile.

| Fork offers some great whitewater; Utah Lake State Park is a great place to go.
There is a nice hiking trail near Currant Creek called the Indian Trail; Provo Bay is not far at all. There's more to do in the vicinity of Currant Creek other than just hanging out such as hiking, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Currant Creek is usually a pretty dried up place; April is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest.

When was the last time you went camping for a couple of days? Currant Creek in Utah is a really wonderful
site to spend some time. The fine pick of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. There is so much enjoyable stuff near Currant Creek, and it's one of those sites where everything is wonderful.
Several folks camp here for the purpose
of being in close proximity to Utah Lake State Park. Currant Creek is an old favorite with residents of Orem. Sundance has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff, and for you golfers we recommend nearby East Bay Golf Course.
This is a popular place for folks from Provo-Orem; Deer Creek State Park is worth a visit.
