| | The helpful operators of the campground and the enormously capably managed facilities are in themselves incentive enough to come here. Cherry is a very popular old favorite campground among the people from Provo. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Provo River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and if time allows, Timpanogos Cave National Monument is a national park worth visiting.
There's great hiking along the Indian Trail, and there's some flowing water nearby, Mill Race is a stream you can visit while here. During the warm |
months, highs usually are in the 80's at Cherry. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Cherry fall into the 10's.
So many local attractions and the close
| by outdoors recreation are fine incentives to come. Just can't get enough of the Wasatch Range. Paddling on Spanish Fork is so much fun; you'll meet a lot of people from Provo here.
Do pop by Battle Creek Debris Basin Reservoir close to Cherry, it's a wonderful lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cherry; Mount Timpanogos Trail is a brilliant local trail. It's been too much time since you went outside; Cherry in Utah is exactly what you need. Coming to this campground is always a brilliant idea. A trip to California National Historic Trail is worthwhile; beautiful scenery
and magnificent skiing is what you obtain at Sundance. Cherry gets very little rain; the month of April is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July.
Several people opt for this campground to be in the vicinity of Utah Lake State Park. And if that's
not enough there's plenty more enjoyable things to do in the Wasatch Range. Playing golf is lots of fun at East Bay Golf Course, and a trip to Utah Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
Cherry is one of the places to camp here in the Wasatch Range. Utah is a
good outdoors state. This campground is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Big Cottonwood Creek, and Deer Creek State Park is a delightful site to check out on a wonderful day.
