While you're here at Cedar Canyon you will meet lots of folks from close by Cedar City, and if you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Cedar Ridge Golf Course. It is very dried up here at Cedar Canyon frequently; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is June. |

| hike along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Green Lake is one of those close by. While you're here at Cedar Canyon you can take a hike along the Hop Valley Trail, and you could always explore Stephens Canyon. The people who look after the campground and the great quantity of amusing things to do have scores of folks coming here. is good fun. There is so much enjoyable stuff near Cedar Canyon, and to be here is glorious fun any time. You have to get out, and Cedar Canyon is a glorious local campground if you happen to be in Utah. Minersville State Park is a great site to pop by, and while you're here,
you could have a look at Squaw Creek. This is a great campground. Virgin River - North Fork is a fine whitewater spot close to Cedar Canyon, and a trip to Cedar Breaks National Monument is worthwhile. A lot of people camp here in order to be close to Cedar Breaks National Monument.
This campground is so great. Take a hike on the La Verkin Creek Trail; a day on the slopes of Brian Head is just what you need. All through the days of summer highs here at Cedar Canyon get into the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Cedar Canyon sink into the 10's.
