Thousand Trails, Texas   The great folks who operate this place and all the exciting stuff to do attract people from far and near. Such a great pick of attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back persistently. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do in close proximity to Thousand Trails. Paddling on Medina River is so much fun; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Verde Creek. If you love the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so     getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. An average amount of precipitation falls at Thousand Trails; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is December. Some close by water includes Brushy Creek, and Thousand Trails is close to Kerrville-Schreiner State Park which is a stunning place. This part of Texas is always a delight to pop by during camping season. This is such a pleasant campground. San Geronimo Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and there's delightful hiking along the Hill Country State Natural Area Trail. Spettel Cove is not far from Thousand Trails at all; at Thousand Trails you always meet someone from Pipe Creek. Throughout the summertime months here at Thousand Trails, high temperatures mostly reach the 90's with night lows in the 70's. The cold days   of the winter come with highs in the 60's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Thousand Trails descend into the 30's. At Thousand Trails you can see Goat Hill; when you're here it's always fun to take a look at Guadalupe River State Park. Thousand Trails is liked by visitors from Pipe Creek. At Thousand Trails enjoyable stuff to do is abundant; camping is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a great place to do that.
