So many cool things right next door to Thousand Trails, just inspiring. While you're here at Thousand Trails you have to take a look at Spettel Cove, and Kerrville-Schreiner State Park is a tremendous spot to stretch your legs a bit.

Take a side visit to Brushy Creek, and here at Thousand Trails you can distinguish Goat Hill. From a rain point of view Thousand Trails is a rather normal site; May is the wettest month with most rain; December is the month
with the least moisture. This is a popular location for people from Pipe Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Hill Country State Natural Area Trail.
This campground is a fine place to pop by. Places like Guadalupe River State Park are pleasant to stop at, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is San Geronimo Creek.
