the winter for Thousand Trails tend to be in the 30's. Take a side visit to Brushy Creek, and here at Thousand Trails you can distinguish Goat Hill. From a rain point of view Thousand Trails is a rather normal site; May is the wettest month with most rain; December is the month
with the least moisture. This is a popular location for people from Pipe Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Hill Country State Natural Area Trail. This campground is a fine place to pop by. Places like Guadalupe River State Park are pleasant to stop at, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is San Geronimo Creek.
