| to offer. There's whitewater on Childress Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and a trip to Lake Whitney State Park is a wonderful idea. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Nolan River, and Towash Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. The magnificent choice of local attractions, and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.

Going to Meridian State Park near Thousand Trails is a wonderful thing
to do, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lake Whitney Golf Club is nearby. At Thousand Trails throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Thousand Trails tend to be in the 20's.
