Everybody loves Inks Lake State Park; as expected, this is a fine vicinity for people who like lakes, Wildcat Lake is a lake around here. Cowan Creek is a good local stream; Longhorn Cavern State Park is worth going to. Famous Texas generosity and the beauty of the location have people coming from all over.
Among the things you can do near Scott Fishing Camp are swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something |
that is likely to happen. This is a popular spot for folks from Bluffton, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Colorado Bend State Park Trail. Near Scott Fishing Camp you stumble on a golf course called Ink's Lake Golf Course.
This campground is always a diversion.
| Why not visit Cedar Point also since you're here, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colorado River. Lots of people camp here in order to be in the neighborhood of Inks Lake State Park.

Llano River is a good whitewater spot next to Scott Fishing Camp, and the Inks Lake State Park Trail offers hiking at its best. Scott Fishing Camp gets a common amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and January is when it's the driest.

here to Scott Fishing Camp for a perfect time. Take a hike on the Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail, and don't leave Scott Fishing Camp without first going for a hike along the Cedar Point Recreation Area Trail.
