San Jo Cove, Texas   If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's hiking, swimming, and fishing, so it's impossible to get bored. It's just not possible to run out of exciting stuff to do close to San Jo Cove; to be at this place is perfect fun any time. Finally, camping time is here once more, and San Jo Cove is a perfect local campground if you happen to be in Texas. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to San Jo Cove has to offer. San Jo Cove is in the neighborhood of Huntsville State Park which is a     beautiful place, and going for a hike on the Huntsville State Park Trail is always a great adventure. All the great local attractions around here and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are delightful motives to come. There are wonderful places to look at along the Sweetleaf Nature Trail, and Lewis Creek Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by. All the water falling down from the sky makes San Jo Cove a wet place; most of the rain falls during May; July on the other hand is the driest. Some folks stay at this campground to take a look at close by Huntsville State Park. All the joyful folks and the very nicely controlled facilities makes the journey here worthwhile. There's splendid hiking along the Green Loop Trail; Lewis Creek Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. San Jo Cove is an old   favorite with folks in New Waverly. The warmest time of the year at San Jo Cove arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 70's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 60's; during the dark hours in the winter at San Jo Cove temperatures fall to the 30's. When you're here at San Jo Cove it's always fun to take a look at Sam Houston National Forest; don't leave San Jo Cove without first going for a hike along the Lone Star Trail. With so much to do in Texas you'll never get bored. This is such a nice campground. Take a side visit to Weirs Creek, and nearby you hit upon the Stubblefield Lake Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Here at San Jo Cove there are plenty of folks from New Waverly.
