Going to Cleburne State Park next to Rollahome Park is a good thing to do, and going for a hike on the Benbrook Lake Trail is always a great adventure. Get drenched paddling on Trinity River - Clear Fork, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge Trails. Rollahome Park is a campground that is extremely prized by residents of Naval Air Station/ Jrb.

do here at Rollahome Park are fishing, hiking, swimming, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Lake Worth Beach is a beach in the vicinity of Rollahome Park that you can stop at, and Kings Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit.
| Get yourself into a kayak and hit Johnson Creek; Cedar Hill State Park is a magnificent place to pop by on a lovely day.
Paddling on Trinity River - West Fork is so much fun, and you'll meet a lot of people from Naval Air Station/ Jrb here.

High temperatures at Rollahome Park through the days of summer are in the 90's while nighttime lows are typically in the 70's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Rollahome Park dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
Near Rollahome
Park you stumble on the Crosstimbers Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and if you're a golfer then a tremendous nearby course is Pecan Valley Golf Course. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great world it would be.
